COURSE DESCRIPTION
Completion of this tailored programme allows learners to develop a ‘hands-on’ approach to their learning and gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding of the childcare sector. The skills, knowledge and understanding gained will help learners prepare for work through simulated work situations and contributes to preparing them for working life.
Learners will explore various topics including child development, food and nutrition, the importance of play and much more. This knowledge will also help them to make an informed choice about working with children and young people.
COURSE DELIVERY
The course is delivered in a fully virtual classroom with a dedicated tutor, this enables learners to be supported throughout the learning journey.
Classes are held from 10:00am – 2:00pm with a 1 hour break at 11:30am over a total of 6 sessions once a week.
