Course Information
This qualification is designed to provide the learner with knowledge and understanding and competence of leading teams.
Qualifications are targeted at those who lead and supervise teams of people and for practising and aspiring front line managers with little or no formal qualifications.
Level 2 QCF in Team Leading is for those who have a responsibility for the work of others, as they lead a team. It is ideal if you are entering management, or who have the ability and the opportunity to demonstrate recognisable management and leadership skills, for example, providing leadership for your team, encouraging innovation, allocating and checking work. It is ideal for newly promoted room leaders and team leaders.
A typical example of units includes:
• Manage personal performance and development
• Lead and manage a team
• Principles of team leading
• Develop working relationships with colleagues
To achieve the Level two Diploma in Team Leading learners must complete a minimum of 40 credits:
You can usually complete in 12 months.
When taken as an apprenticeship you will also complete Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT at Level 1.
