Mental Health Awareness Week – Combating Anxiety In The Workplace

The 15th to the 21st of May is Mental Health Awareness Week and this year the focus is on Anxiety. Learn Plus Us will be taking a look at this subject all week, and offering support and information to help better understand and manage anxiety.

In today’s fast-paced work environment, anxiety has become a common problem that many people face. While a little bit of stress can help increase productivity, too much anxiety can harm our mental and physical health, causing difficulty in focusing and making us more prone to making mistakes. Coping with anxiety at work can be a challenge, but with the right strategies, it can be managed effectively.

We’ve broken down some key steps that are a great place to start with anxiety management in the workplace. Take a look below:

Identify Triggers

The first step in managing anxiety is to identify the triggers that cause it. It could be a specific task, an upcoming meeting or presentation, or a difficult colleague. Once you have identified the triggers, you can develop a plan to deal with them effectively. For example, if you feel anxious before a meeting, try practicing your presentation with a friend or colleague to build your confidence.

Develop a Routine

Having a routine can help reduce anxiety. Try to establish a consistent work schedule, including regular breaks and exercise. This can help you feel more in control and less overwhelmed by your workload.

Take Breaks

Taking regular breaks is essential for managing anxiety. It can help you refocus your mind and reduce stress levels. You can take a short walk, stretch, or practice deep breathing exercises to help you relax.

Prioritise Tasks

Prioritising tasks can help reduce anxiety by breaking down your workload into manageable parts. Start by creating a to-do list and identifying which tasks are the most important. Focus on completing the most critical tasks first, then move on to the less important ones.

Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle

A healthy lifestyle can help reduce anxiety. Make sure you get enough sleep, exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and avoid unhealthy habits such as smoking or excessive drinking.

Seek Out Support

Talking to someone you trust about your anxiety can help you feel less alone and more supported. It could be a friend, family member, or a mental health professional. If your anxiety is affecting your daily life and work performance, seeking professional help may be the best course of action.

While anxiety is a common problem, it does not have to control your life. With the right strategies, you can manage your anxiety effectively and improve your overall well-being.

More information and resources on anxiety and how to manage it in your day to day life can be found on the Mental Health Foundation Website.

The Coronation of King Charles lll

The Coronation of King Charles III

On Saturday, millions of people around the world will have the opportunity to witness an event that has not taken place in almost 70 years – the crowning of a new British Monarch. Learn Plus Us Chief Commercial Officer Debbie Gardiner MBE offers her thoughts and perspective on this historic occasion.

We are about to witness history in the making, a moment to remember and an opportunity to celebrate with family, friends and neighbours – the coronation of King Charles lll will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May 2023.

I hold our Monarchy in high esteem, it almost feels like part of my makeup to have respect for a Royal Family that has been such a constant in my personal and professional life. The Monarchy and this grand ceremony will be watched by millions around the world, which makes me feel proud to be British and that our British Values are accessible to so many.

I can’t begin to tell you how was honoured and humbled I felt to be included in Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll 2018 New Years Honours list with an MBE for Services to Apprenticeships and Charity. Five years on and it still feels unreal. It was a privilege to be invited to my investiture at Buckingham Palace and to meet so many wonderful recipients who had achieved amazing things in their lives, such stories of generosity, supporting others, voluntary work with children and victims of crime and people that had served in the NHS since day 1.  As I looked around the room, it became clear that the men were more relaxed than us ladies, without exception we stood glued to the monitors showing footage of previous investitures because we had to master the art of the curtsy. There was a great feeling of being part of something special, it didn’t matter that we’d never met before, we were sharing this moment and took pleasure in hearing each other’s stories.

Debbie Gardiner being presented with her MBE by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace
This is such a special photo, you can see how happy I look. Standing there I felt a huge sense of pride and joy, however my head was spinning with the detailed instructions about how many steps to take (forward and back), when to shake hands, the curtsy and when to leave to make way for the next recipient. It wasn’t until just after this moment that I realised my husband and children had front row seats.

I had the privilege of being presented with my MBE by the then Prince of Wales, His Royal Highness Prince Charles, who I’m pleased to be able confirm is a fan of apprenticeships; he had a genuine interest and commented that he was pleased employers had started to engage with the idea and take on more apprentices. So, there I was, talking to the future King about apprenticeships and finding that we had a shared a passion about giving people development opportunities and making a difference to the lives of others. AMAZING. It was lovely to have my husband and children there to witness this event, but if I’m being honest, it still makes me sad that my parents didn’t see their little girl receive an MBE.

Receiving the Warrant some weeks later was like re-living it again, it brought great joy into the house. My Warrant is signed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll and the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip. It has always meant a lot to me, but since they’ve both passed away, I feel all the more privileged to have this wonderful document that they both signed; it’s my special piece of British history.

I’m 62 and this will be the first coronation in my lifetime, how amazing is that? I’ll be watching it, making new memories, seeing history unfold and remembering that we shook hands and talked all things apprenticeships.

It looks to me like King Charles lll has been enjoying the preparations and rehearsals for the big day and I’m sure he will enjoy the real event and seeing so many others having a good time.

Mark Dawe, Debbie Gardiner, and Karen Kelly smiling for a photo at bbar on Buckingham Palace Road
Here I am with Mark Dawe, the person who put me forward for an award and Karen Kelly long standing colleague and friend, it was the same day and we’d just had a lovely meal at BBar on Buckingham Palace Road. Forever grateful to Mark and the team at AELP for the nomination and I should give my hairdresser Wayne a shout out as I had the best dressed head, with no fear of fascinator slippage.

I feel like I need to pinch myself when I say out loud that I’ve met the King, I’m just a little girl from North London, who always had a lot to say, was a bit bossy, but from the age of 10 (1970) started supporting ‘people’ charities and raised a massive £20 in my first jumble sale in our garage.

This coronation has a special meaning for me and my family, whatever you have planned let’s make it a happy and peaceful weekend.

On behalf of Learn Plus Us I’d like to congratulate King Charles lll on his coronation and wish him a long, healthy and fulfilled life as our King.

Angus Knight Group expands its UK Education offering with the acquisition of Catch22’s Apprenticeship Business

Angus Knight Group expands its UK Education offering with the acquisition of Catch22’s Apprenticeship Business

Angus Knight today is pleased to announce that they have entered into a binding agreement to acquire the apprenticeship business of Catch22 through its existing UK Apprenticeship business Learn Plus Us.

Angus Knight is grateful for the opportunity to further its existing relationship with Catch22, a partner with Angus Knight in the Jobs 22 joint venture.

The acquisition is a strong addition to the Education segment and allows the group to grow and expand its UK apprenticeship offering during a time when the UK is experiencing a meaningful skills shortage.

Catch22 apprenticeship business

The Catch22 apprenticeship business is an award-winning approved levy apprenticeship provider with 14 staff operating across England.

The business offers apprenticeship programs from Level 2 to Level 5 across business administration, customer service, team leading, operations management, housing and property management, hospitality, and young people and families.

In 2022 the business was rated “Good” grade 2 provider by Ofsted and was recognised in the Rate My Apprenticeship Survey as a top 20 training provider nationally.

The combined business and expanded offering

The acquisition further enhances the Learn Plus Us offering with new courses in hospitality, housing and property, and business services. The business will now have a combined staff of over 45 people supporting over 500 students and partnering with over 275 businesses.

Importantly, the acquisition coincides with a meaningful skills shortage in the UK, with a recent survey finding 78% of employers reporting difficulty in finding qualified candidates for open positions. This shortage is particularly acute in industries such as childcare, hospitality and business services.

Angus Knight remains focused on addressing the skills shortage in the UK through employability, training and apprenticeships and looks forward to providing continued support and partnership to individuals and businesses in our communities.

Angus Knight Group CEO, Nic Fairbank said:

“I would like to welcome the Catch22 apprenticeship team to the Angus Knight Group. We have developed a strong relationship with Catch22 through our Jobs 22 joint venture and I am confident of the strong cultural alignment between our two organisations.

This acquisition grows our Education offering and allows us to further Angus Knight’s mission to empower the people and communities we work with through top-quality training, work and education opportunities. We believe that investing in the future workforce is crucial for the success of both individuals and businesses, and we are excited to be able to make a positive impact through our acquisition in the UK apprenticeships space.

We remain focused on exploring acquisition and partnership opportunities that align to our growth strategy and add value to the communities we serve. We are actively exploring opportunities and look forward to the year ahead.”

Angus Knight Group UK and Europe CEO, Ayden Sims said;

“It’s been great to see the benefits of our close integration with Catch22 and Learn Plus Us continue to bear fruit and deliver the best possible service for apprentices across the country.

As caution over a UK recession has cooled the growth of vacancies to its lowest rate since February 2021, it’s important that we do all we can to prepare Britain’s workforce for meaningful participation in the future world of work.  The labour market is changing rapidly but Learn Plus Us apprentices can be sure of remarkable support in developing their careers.”

Commenting on the Acquisition, Catch22 Naomi Hulston CEO said:

“Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to train and develop, whilst earning a wage. Through our employability programmes, we have supported hundreds of people of all ages into apprenticeships – for some as a first step into a career, and for others to provide an opportunity to upskill or reskill.

We were delighted that the apprenticeship provision was rated “Good” grade 2 provider by Ofsted last year, and we’re looking forward to seeing it flourish under Angus Knight Group, an organisation that Catch22 already has close links with through our joint venture Jobs 22.

We know that through being part of the Angus Knight Group, a specialist learning provider, our excellent apprenticeship team will go on to achieve even greater results for learners.”

Preparing for success in 2023: Three ways to stay motivated to reach your goals in 2023

Preparing for success in 2023: 3 ways to stay motivated to reach your goals in 2023

How many times have you set yourself goals at the start of a new year only to feel disheartened by the end of January? We all start the year with the greatest intentions, we want to be healthier, learn a new skill, work towards a promotion at work, or start the journey to landing our dream job. In reality, new year goals can sometimes be unrealistic and short-lived.

If you are taking on, or finishing an apprenticeship this year, or studying for a new qualification consider these three key principles to help you stay on track:

1. Consistency

Set yourself small, realistic goals each week and stick to them. An hour of focused time a day will help you tick things off your ‘to-do list’.
Stick to appointments with your tutors and attend any lessons regularly. Your tutors are there to support you, give you feedback and a plan to help you succeed. Make use of your time with them, ask lots of questions, and give them suggestions on how best support you.

Download our free, printable 2023 study planner here to help you organise your time

2. Perseverance and reward

Avoiding or putting-off work can be a natural reaction to feeling overwhelmed, but this can turn into a vicious cycle. Facing tasks head-on will help you to feel less overwhelmed in the long term. Preserving through difficult periods and overcoming challenges will give you the motivation to keep going. Don’t forgot to reward yourself regularly for your hard work!

3.     Acceptance

Accept your limits and know when to ask for help. None of us learn in exactly the same way, and success looks different from one individual to the next. One of the keys to success is to identify if there are any barriers stopping you from reaching your goals. Simple, practical things could make a big difference, try; changing your study environment, reducing your screen-time, taking more breaks during study time, studying at a different time of the day, and making a list of what other priorities or distractions might be getting in your way.

Speak to your tutor if you are facing a challenge or have hit a roadblock in your studies.

Finally, don’t fear failure. Failure can be a healthy of part of any learning journey. Setbacks can often provide excellent learning opportunities, helping us to find new ways to reach our goals. The key is not to give up.

National Apprenticeship week 2023: Exploring the long-term benefits of apprenticeships

National Apprenticeship week 2023: Exploring the long-term benefits of apprenticeships

National Apprenticeship Week runs from 6-12 February. The theme; “Skills for Life” is an exploration and celebration of the long-term benefits of apprenticeships for both employers and apprentices.

Learn Plus Us has been working alongside individuals and employers alike for over 10 years. During this time, we’ve learnt a thing or two about apprenticeship delivery and the benefits of this unique kind of programme.

Explore our range of apprenticeships and diplomas here.

What is an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are work-based learning programmes, typically lasting between 1 and 5 years. They are delivered at Level 2 all the way through to Level 7 – the equivalent of a post-graduate degree. The length of programme will vary depending on the level of study and the requirements of the chosen apprenticeship standard, typically, a level 3 apprenticeship will last between 12 and 24 months.

What makes apprenticeships particularly exciting is that they require participants to be in a practical work placement whilst they learn. This means that they will always be earning a wage whilst gaining their qualifications. Apprentices have the unique advantage of working in their chosen field; something that usually won’t happen if you choose to go to college or university.

Why do apprenticeships work?

Apprenticeships work because they have a mutual benefit to participants and employers alike. The apprentice becomes familiar with the sector they are working in and receives one to one support from the industry experts they work alongside. Apprentices will also have mentors in the workplace. These skilled individuals, as well as their colleagues, help to ensure they receive the support needed to achieve the knowledge, skills and behaviour requirements to complete their apprenticeship successfully. Apprentices are not alone during their learning journey; they also have dedicated tutors and support staff on-hand to keep them on track. They will also receive mandatory off-the-job training time to guarantee they have the time to complete their studies.

Employers can tailor training to suit the needs of their businesses and they can future-proof their workforce by ensuring staff are receiving high quality, up-to-date training. Workplaces that invest in up-skilling or re-skilling their staff have greater staff retention and a happier and more productive workforce.

Lastly, the great news is if your business is turning over less than £3 million pa then the apprenticeship training you offer will attract 95% government funding. This means you will only pay 5% towards the cost, and even better still you can take advantage of the levy transfer scheme; a government initiative to help larger companies share unused apprenticeship funding with smaller companies. Large employers that pay the apprenticeship levy can choose to transfer up to 25% of their levy funds each year to other businesses, to pay for their apprenticeship training and assessment. Using the levy transfer means training will be fully funded and there is no cost to you – so it’s a win, win!

Apprenticeships are available from the age of 16 with no upper limit. They are an all-age programme of knowledge, skills and behaviours development which are ideal for new entrants to your chosen sector. They are also great for exiting employees who need to up-skill because of career progression or significant modernisation through technology and the Green agenda.

What are the 6 main benefits of apprenticeships?

1. Earn whilst you learn

Apprentices are employed and receive a wage like any other employee. This means there is no student debt at the end of the programme and they will be being paid alongside completing their studies.

2. Receives the same benefits as any other employee

Apprentices are entitled to pension contribution, holiday and sick pay, as well as any other benefits that their employer offers.

3. No student debt

Unlike university, apprentices won’t be left with student debt to pay off. Apprenticeships are funded by the government and the employer.

4. Receive one to one support from industry experts

Learning on and off-the-job means you are surrounded by industry experts; you also have your expert apprenticeship Tutors to go to for support and guidance.

5. Progress in your career quicker

Apprentices often progress in their careers more quickly because they are already working in their chosen field. Many employers want to up-skill their staff to offer them more responsibility.

6. Entitled to student discount

Apprentices are entitled to apply for the NUS Apprentice Extra discount card. This gives apprentices access to hundreds of discounts both in-store and online.

We recently interviewed Childcare apprentice, Jess, to learn about her experience of taking on a Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeship with Learn Plus Us. Watch her full interview here.

Mental Health Awareness – Stress and Anxiety are a contributing factor

Mental Health is defined as “a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional wellbeing…???

This week is Mental Health week with the theme ‘Stress – Are We Coping?’

Mental Health – Who does it affect?

Every person needs to look after their wellbeing and it can be difficult sometimes when there are daily worries and issues caused by stress and anxiety.  These worries can be one off or ongoing and they can affect people in different ways.

Mental Health Foundation UK advise “Mental Health is everyone’s business.  We all have times when we feel down or stressed or frightened.  Most of the time those feelings pass, but sometimes they develop into a more serious problem that could happen to anyone of us.???

When someone is trying to overcome feelings of overwhelm and anxiety in their daily lives, there are steps which they can take which will help them feel more in control, less stressed and ready to take on challenges which they did not feel could be possible.  These challenges could be starting a new job, studying a new course or just simply taking a walk around the block.

So what can you do to help yourself?

Communicate with others

Imagine you have just enrolled yourself into a new course to further your prospects at a higher-level career but feel completely out of your depth and getting stressed because you haven’t studied for a number of years.  By communicating how you feel in this situation to your teacher, tutor or assessor you can alleviate your anxiety because ‘a trouble shared is a trouble halved’.  So, whatever you are going through in your life, communication is the key.  Find someone you can talk to and start feeling your anxiety relieved.

Exercise

Yes, even just a walk around the block can help you alleviate the anxieties that build up and start creating greater mental health overwhelm.  When you think of exercise, you think of making time to go to the gym or hiring a personal trainer.  But, what is most relevant here is that you make time for a walk, a swim or a run in the park.

Enjoy ‘You’ time

This can be a time which most people do not have during a day, a week, a month or even a year.  But this is an essential part of being.  Taking time out for you, whether it is just sitting in the sun reading a book or taking yourself to the movies on your own, this time is the time to do just what you want to do.  It is important for your sanity and mental health. Know your identity, remember who you are.

Have a routine

Having a routine and a structure around what you do in your life can help you maintain a sense of security and stop overwhelm happening to you.  When you have a shopping list and take it to the supermarket, for example, you buy only the items you need.  You have a structure, you keep to your budget and the menus you have decided on for your weekly shop.  When you don’t have structure, your weekly shop becomes greater than it needs to be, you are overspending and then you feel stress creeping in.  Be prepared to set up a routine for yourself in your life.

Socialise and Friendship

Being around people who you care about and who care about you can make your life feel a little less worrisome and a lot more enjoyable.  Sometimes even it can be that you have a friend who is feeling more stressed than you about something, and just offering a shoulder for them can alleviate the stress and anxiety you are feeling.  Helping and socialising with others where you can forget about some of your troubling issues and laugh and smile can make your worries start to dissipate.

By alleviating stress in whatever part of your life you feel it the most, you can start moving your daily life forward to accomplish the things in life which matter the most – learning something new, moving into a new career, starting a family or even just getting your drivers licence.

What is stressing you the most right now?  What will you do to alleviate this?

We have a number of fully funded short courses which can help you help yourself or others with the care and understanding of Mental Health.  Please ask us for more information.

It is never too old to LEARN

Students go through their regular school years, many head to University and others straight into the workforce or apprenticeships.  Over a period of time those in the workforce and in their adult years decide that there is more to learn.  No-one is ever too old to learn.

We have a number of adult learners who are not only enrolled on short courses but are also moving their career forward by completing their Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.  They are increasing their skills and obtaining new qualifications which will lead to promotions and potentially higher wages.

“Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow.??? Anthony J. D’Angelo

The reasons to continue learning far outweigh the reasons not to.  For example, the following are some reasons for adult learning where age is no barrier:

  • Study something which has always interested you and now is a great time to start
  • Study a course which can help you support a loved one through difficulties
  • Gain more confidence after possibly being made redundant and need reassurance
  • Set a great example for the younger generation
  • Keep a sharp mind, keep learning and keep their brains active
  • Further develop your skills and upskill from say a business administration course to management
  • Enjoy the continued challenge of something new
  • Simply to satisfy an enquiring mind

New qualifications mean new beginnings

“The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.???  B. B. King

So when you aspire to learn something new, keep going until you find the right course (be it a short course, a certificate or apprenticeship).  So what can you actually learn?

Well there are many options and many places which offer these new skills and new opportunities to adult learners.  There are a number of short Certificate 2 courses you can undertake are fully funded and cover some of these areas which may be of interest to you:

  • Caring for Children and Young People
  • Business Admin
  • Understanding Equality and Diversity
  • Awareness of Mental Health Problems
  • Understanding Autism
  • Principles in Team Leading
  • First Aid

In addition to these, you can apply for a Learner Loan as an adult up to 12 months before retirement age which entitles you to undertake approved qualifications from level 3 to level 6 at an approved provider in England. This give access to financial support for tuition costs in a way that is similar to those in higher education.  Advanced Learner Loans are paid directly to the training provider or college on your behalf meaning that once approved you can start your training without any costs.

So what higher-level qualification are you seeking?  There are so many options open to adult learners so now is the time to start thinking ahead and planning what you would like to learn..

Stress in learning

Why would learning something new be stressful?

This could be for a number of reasons, but a main reason is fear.  Fear of the unknown, fear of feeling silly if you don’t understand something new, fear of exams, fear of moving forward, fear of a new commitment.

After working with new learners for a number of years, we have seen one or more of these fears. These are legitimate fears but fears which can be worked through and supported to ensure a positive outcome to new learning.

Stress Awareness Month

This month, April, is Stress Awareness month and we thought this was the right time and opportunity to help you face your fear when learning something new.  The post is not limited to this month and therefore we hope you can come back and read whenever one of these fears reaches out to you.

Fear of the Unknown

What is the unknown?  It happens from the moment we are born and when we start to learn to clap our hands or to start walk.  Everything is an unknown until we take up the challenge and start learning.  So the fear of learning something new, comes from not really knowing what is involved with the study, the tests and also what you need to accomplish at the end of what you would love to know more about.  Yes, you need to face the unknown to achieve greater knowledge.

Fear of feeling silly

We all feel like this at one stage in our lives.  It could be from when you are watching everyone else walk along a balance beam in school gymnastics but you have tried before and fallen off.  The way of overcoming this fear of feeling silly, is to realise that everyone of us is good at something that others are not.  We cannot all be the same, don’t hinder your learning of something new because of this fear.

Fear of Exams

Imagine you are an adult returning to study and you have the worst memories of school and exams and this is stopping you from further studies.  If this is the case, then researching a training facility, a further education college is the most important research you can do.  It is imperative you find out about the support you will receive, the tutors you will have and start alleviating the fears you have which will stop you learning.

Fear of Moving Forward

This is a fear which, although understandable, is a fear which you need to stall.  Moving forward in life or in your career can only make you feel more empowered and more successful.  It can be hard to imagine moving out of the comfort zone you are currently in but look around you, are people around you moving forward?  What does that look like to you?  Do not fear moving forward, embrace it.

Fear of a New Commitment

The reason you may feel this, is because you may not feel you have enough time, perhaps you are not ready to meet other people.  A new commitment can be difficult and taking the first step into your new commitment can seem daunting, but take the first step and take it from there.  Move forward slowly, but keep moving forward.

So now is the time to start facing your fears, stop stressing about an unknown and move your life and/or your career in a step in the right direction by learning.

Are you anxious about Maths?

Maths is just one of the subjects in life that you either get or you don’t and then feel like all you are doing is playing catch up or will never understand it.

However, you should not feel like that.  Everything can be learnt or re-learnt, the timing just has to be right.  So, in this Mathematics and Statistics Month, we thought we would give some tips or info on just how you can overcome being anxious about learning about Maths.

What is Mathematics and Statistics month?

Since 1986 when this month started as Mathematics Awareness Week, becoming a full month in 1999 and incorporating Statistics from 2017, there has been an ever-increasing appreciation and awareness of how diversified our use of Maths is across most of what we do in our lives.

So, now is the time for you to gain transferable skills to help you, as a learner, feel more confident and in turn work effectively in your chosen area of employment.

Maths is for everyone

We often think that Maths is just for when we are at school, but anyone can learn or improve their understanding of Maths and its processes.  Perhaps you have missed the opportunity at school to pass your Maths course, or perhaps you just wish you were more confident in understanding Maths and how it can work in your daily life or working environment.  We all use Maths to varying degrees and there is always the opportunity to improve our understanding and further increase our knowledge and skill levels.

Why does Maths make you so Anxious?

For some people the mere mention of the word ‘Maths’ brings on the feelings of stress and anxiety and it is not uncommon for you to feel that way.  But what this is doing is holding you back from learning something which can broaden your career prospects and just help you feel empowered.

What could be holding you back?

  • A Maths teacher at school
  • Maths exams which you just shudder at the thought of
  • You have a creative brain and not a logical one, which is making you feel stressed at thought of doing anything non-creative

Always remember that you can overcome any of the above once you know what has been holding you back from learning something new.

Take some time out to think about the reason you have been holding back and what makes you the most anxious and then look forward to locating the best course available to you to get you started on the Learning Maths route.

Maths – Unknown or Challenge?

If you have a fear of Maths is generally either because it is an unknown or because it just feels challenging.  So, what does Maths mean to you?  This is also a question to ask yourself.

Do you find Maths?

  • An unknown
  • Challenging

There are many elements to Maths, more than just the standard maths and times tables everyone had to learn at school, but the rest can feel like a complete unknown – fractions, algebra and more…  What does it all mean?  This can seem daunting and set the anxiety feelings running.  But learning this can overcome this.

Challenged by the thought of Maths?  The best thing to do is meet the challenge.  Think about, as above, what has made you the most anxious when it comes to Maths and meet that challenge head on.  By sitting back and wondering what could have been, you will always have the battle to win when it comes to Maths.

So, what are your plans now?

It is now time to set aside the fears and challenge yourself in Maths.  What has been holding you back and what course are you going to take now?
