This apprenticehsip will cover the following areas: understanding what hospitality means; the culture of the industry and why delivering a customer experience to meet and exceed customer’s expectations is so important to hospitality businesses. Appreciating the importance of hospitality behaviours such as personal conduct, being adaptable, using initiative and communication. Knowing the range of businesses and establishments that make up the hospitality industry, and the variety of job roles and progression opportunities that are available, and more.
Learners must be aged 16+, not currently undertaking another funded programme of learning, employed a minimum of 16 hours per week, currently a resident in England, a resident in the UK for the last 3 years (unless exempt) and must have the right to live and work in the UK.
Apprentices will be required to have Level 1 English and Maths, either Functional Skills or equivalent before completing their End Point Assessment (EPA).
Progression from this apprenticeship is expected to be onto a hospitality supervisory or team leading role. Apprentices may also progress onto a Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 or Team Leader Level 3.
