Level 3 Housing and Property Management Apprenticeship


Our Level 3 Housing and Property Management apprenticeship is perfect for individuals taking the next step in their career in property management. It will prepare learners for a range of general housing and property management duties leading to operational or specialist roles. The role of the apprentice will vary dependant on the organisation, but will be suitable for individuals who work in a customer-facing environment and are responsible for the creation and sustainment of successful tenancies in the private and social rented housing sectors, answering questions or handling complaints.

Course duration – 18 – 24 months


Course overview


This apprenticeship will cover a range of knowledge, skills and behaviour topics including: legislation and regulation, organisational policies, customer service, customer care and communication, influencing and negotiating, responding to vulnerability, information collection and sharing and more.

Learners must be aged 16+, not currently undertaking another funded programme of learning, employed a minimum of 16 hours per week, currently a resident in England, a resident in the UK for the last 3 years (unless exempt) and must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Apprentices will be required to have Level 2 English and Maths, either Functional Skills or equivalent before completing their End Point Assessment (EPA).

On completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices will be able to apply to the following for memberships: Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) at Member level. ARLA Propertymark at Member grade. Apprentices will be able to progress to managerial and/or professional roles within the housing sector. Apprentices may also progress onto the Senior Housing and Property Management Level 4 or an Operations or Departmental Management Level 5 apprenticeship.
